My friend Mac sent me an iTunes gift the other day.
I think we were chatting or something on facebook and he had asked if I’d heard of the band, Mumford & Sons.
I said that I hadn’t and moments later he had sent me the album through iTunes. I put it on (this was a couple of weeks ago) and really haven’t listened to much else since then. The great thing about these guys is that you can listen to the whole album and want to listen to it all over again. The entire album is killer.
I think my favorite aspect of the band is their harmonies. I’m not sure how many guys are singing, but it sounds like a choir with all the crazy vocals in the background. So, please check these guys out as soon as you can. They’re from London, I think, and they will be huge (if they aren’t already).
I recommend every song on the disc, “Sigh No More”, but my favorite track is Blank White Page. I can’t help but start singing along with that one.
