So this weekend is the Ryder Cup in professional golf.
I’ve always loved golf. Well, that’s not exactly true; when I’m playing terribly, I really don’t like it. I do always like to watch a good golf tourney, though. This next week, my dad is coming out to play some really nice courses in our area and I’m hoping to play very well . . . maybe even take some of his money? but probably not.
Our boys from America really played well the first couple of sessions this weekend in the Ryder Cup. We even have a little lead over our European counterparts – which doesn’t happen very often lately, and especially not when we’re playing over in Europe. In fact, I don’t think we’ve won over there for like 15 years or something.
Here’s to hoping that changes this year!
